I bought the bike in 1998 after crashing another bike in 1997. It cost £3300 and wasn't in the best of condition, and I've done nothing to improve this.
Before I put it away in 2004 I'd been a long way on the old girl. It was a nice road-bike, if a little cramped between the seat and pegs; not an ideal tourer, but not as bad as some others I've used.
Bad points: cheap and nasty fasteners holding on a very expensive seat unit, lack of spares availability
Good points: nice looking bike, nice to ride, rarity
She was wheeled out for the Spa Bikers Classics last year, and will be entered again in 2013 ridden by my Dad.
It's standard apart from a Yoshimura system. At present a lot of the road gear is taken off ahead of its track outing.
